Have a look at the settings for automatic updating of the list. I myself have a QNAP NAS and everything works without problems.
1. open settings
2. search for "refresh"

Unfortunately, I can not understand this case. For me, deleting including removing the file from the view works both with and without mapped drives via SMB. EDIT: I found an article about network settings regarding SMB. Maybe the problem is with the caching of the files. Have a look at this article....

you can either sort the files by date in descending order or look at which files have a red dot in front of the file name
